HUNT FOR IZUBR DEER DURING RUT AT LAKE BAIKAL (BURJATIA) 

Airport of destination: Ulan-Ude via Moscow

19.09. to Moscow (DME). Airport pick-up service

 at 21:15 from Moscow (DME) with S7 flight to Ulan-Ude

20.09. at 8:10 am to Ulan-Ude (UUD)

Drive to the hunting grounds (approximately 200 km)

21.09. - 26.09. - Hunting for izubr deer.

The hunt for izubr deer during the rut is largely a hunt by stalking, which takes place on stalking ride and the stalking foot on the mountain slopes during rutting season. The average trophy is about 7-8 kg, but the trophies can reach up to 11-12 kg. Success to shoot an izubr deer is about 70-80%. It is ridden in the morning (from about 5 o'clock to about 10 o'clock) and in the evening (from about 18 o'clock to about 20 o'clock) ridden through the area. The hunter must be ready to ride for a long time. The corresponding physical condition is therefore necessary.

The hunting method is presented an attempt to izubr deer, who is imitated by the professional hunter with a pipe to lure, and to bring him to the rifle of the hunting guest.

27.09. Car drive to the shore of the lake. Overnight in Takhon, comfortable accommodation. This is a visitor center of Baikal nature reserve.

28.09. Crossing the lake from Takhon to the Listvanka with the air cushion boat. Listvjanka is a place (68 km from Irkutsk), where the river Angara springs from Lake Baikal. Here you can visit the sealarium, the souvenir market on the lake shore, the museum of Lake Baikal. If it is desired, one can in a restaurant in the hotel "Lighthouse" (8th floor) with a beautiful sight on Lake Baikal eat lunch. Return to Takhon, overnight in Takhon.

29.09. - Activities: Fishing on the lake near the village of Takhon, visit of the Baikal nature reserve (museum, tour of the nature trail, etc.). Overnight in Takhon.

30.09. Departure to Ulan-Ude, overnight stay

1) Service at the airport Moscow on arrival or on the flight home

2) Service in Buryatia:

a) car transfer from airport Ulan-Ude to the hunting area;

b) accommodation and food in the hunting area during hunting;

c) organization of hunting for izubr deer;

d) car transfer from hunting ground to Takhon;

e) Accommodation and catering in Takhon (2 nights);

f) Drive over the lake with the air cushion vehicle;

g) Organization of fishing at Lake Baikal;

h) car transfer from Takhon to Ulan-Ude

3) Supervision of an interpreter who will be responsible for the whole organization, including his flight from Moscow to Ulan-Ude and back

4) Processing fee and necessary official documentation: official confirmation of visa application, local application procedure including government fees, gun import license, shooting licenses, hunting license, veterinary certificates (Russian for export and European for import into the EU), liability insurance for the realization of the tourist product (with the health or travel insurance or with the hunting success has nothing to do)
