IBEX HUNT IN TAJIKISTAN

Mid-Asian Ibex has the largest horns among other species of Caprinae in the world.

Their horns can reach the length up to 60 inches.

Arrival point: Dushanbe (Capital of Tajikistan). There is no problem to come with hunting rifles. We meet you at the airport of your arrival and assist through the customs. From Dushanbe to the hunting area is take from 3-4 up to 7-8 hours driving by car (depend on hunting place).

Hunting season: in February and from August 15 until end of November;

with the best period from September 1 to November 15

Group size: 1-4 hunters

Way of hunting: Most Tajikistan’s hunting trips are organized by horseback. Expect extensive horseback riding 8-10 hours a day and considerable walking through the mountains. Some knowledge and experience with horses and riding is a must. During the day you will explore the upper edges of the mountains, glassing the hillsides and feeding areas. A temporary tented camp is set up with the specific goal of hunting a particular animal or area. Ibexes are located generally in remote country 3,000 m. Once the trophy is spotted you complete your stalk on foot. Physical condition is an important factor for stalking during the hunt. Long range shooting, up to 300 m is normal.

Price for program: 10 days trip / up to 7 days hunting

5.000 € per hunter, incl.

- Accommodation and food in camp. The hunting Camp is simple houses, or tents. Tents and houses equip with necessary comfort, power generator. The cooker and other service staff does everything possible to please our guests.

- Service of Professional Guide

- Shooting of 1 ibex independently on trophy size, incl. field preparation of scull with horns and packaging. If contrary to expectations the ibex included in the price are not shot, Euro 1,500.00 will be refunded. If the hunting guest refuses a shot at standing or quietly pulling game at a near-by-shot distance (at the focal distance), it means up to 350 meters, in a quiet position and with appropriate support on an average trophy carrier, no repayment will be made. The wounded and not found game is considered as shot.

HUNTING SCHEDULE:
1 day - Arriving to Dushanbe, Departure to a camp, to mountains by cars and horses.

3-8 days - Hunting on chosen trophy and other animals.

9 day - Departure to Dushanbe, overnight stay in hotel.

10 day - Departure from Dushanbe

Next day – 350 € hunter / 150 € observer

ADDITIONAL TROPHIES

Euro 3,000.00 - Second Ibex, should be booked before the hunt

Euro 500.00 - Wolf

ADDITIONAL COSTS:

- Euro 200 - Hire of Rifle (if needed). Ammo extra – de facto

- Euro 100 / Euro 150 – Treating of the cape / skin. The cape / skin is degreased & cartilage, salted and packaging.

- personal expenses, tips, bar, import duties, incidental charges

Wounded and lost animal – to be considered as a killed animal!
